One Day in Red, A World of Solidarity

On November 18, 2026, Red Wednesday will be marked across Canada and the world. Inspired by ACN Brazil in 2015 and officially launched in 2016 by ACN UK, the initiative has grown to over 20 countries standing together against Christian persecution. In Toronto, where Red Wednesday has taken place every year since 2018, a Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica by Bishop Vincent Hieu Nguyen, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto. The Cathedral's facade will once again glow red. Everyone is invited to stand with persecuted Christians. Show solidarity by praying, wearing red, or illuminating buildings in your community. More info: acn-canada.org/red-wednesday or contact Evellyne Lemos at el@acn-canada.org. An ACN Canada initiative with Archdiocese of Toronto support.
